The station at Newchurch is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro Plus weather station. The data is collected every 2 seconds and the site is updated every 5 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.

Other sensors include a leaf wetness sensor, Soil temperature sensor's (1 at 125mm and 1 at 10mm), both of which are paired up by a soil moisture sensor.

The station also consists of a Solar sensor and a UV sensor.
