Festival Forecast for The Isle of Wight Festival 2010 will be updated daily as we count down to the big event from 1st June
It all started back in 1968, when summers were long, skirts were short and Hendrix was too busy setting fire to his guitar to notice. After a 30 year absence the festival rose from the ashes to the cheers of music fans everywhere in 2002.
Now in its eighth year since reincarnation, the Isle of Wight Festival is firmly established as one of the most distinctive and well-loved music events on the calendar – winning Best Major UK Festival and Outstanding Contribution to Festivals in 2007.
This year you can enjoy the musical genius of Sir Paul McCartney along with a line-up crammed so full of talent you might just faint if we told you.
